Hi, I`m Claire. Since I remember myself, I love to draw and paint. I am an Illustrator with all my heart specialising in watercolour as well as in black and white illustrations. Even though this is mostly what I am doing, I like to explore different parts of the art universe as well, such as oil, stop motion, photography, digitalart, woolart… as well. The list is long, but I will stop here. 

 

Creating was always something healing and therapeutic as well, as I discovered especially through my work with children, people with disabilities or other challenges in life. Through my work I am trying to build a bridge so we will be able to reconnect to our inner world of imagination. 

 

I was born in Germany, where I returned to after living, studying and working for several years abroad in the lovely Mediterranean area. Not only weather but also the colours are different there and here. 

Currently I am also teaching art, because it is very important for me to connect people to art in different ways.
